Welcome to SAFE

SAFE (Social Awareness for (War) Experiences) brings together a toolkit designed to support youth work, dialogue, and community-based learning in contexts shaped by war, displacement, and social change. It is created for facilitators, educators, and youth workers working with young people affected directly or indirectly by these realities.

Here you will find practical exercises, methodologies, and guidance on how to create safe spaces, plan meaningful learning processes, and work with sensitive topics in a responsible and trauma-informed way.

The toolkit focuses on experience-based learning, reflection, and human connection—supporting young people to explore identity, build trust, and engage with complex issues at their own pace.
