When NOT to Use Certain Formats

Some exercises in this toolkit are marked as high sensitivity. They should not be used when:

The facilitator lacks trauma-informed experience

Adequate time for grounding and closure is unavailable

Participants are in acute crisis without support structures

The context does not allow for confidentiality or consent.

Choosing not to run an exercise is also a responsible facilitation decision.
